Facilities

Karpathos Diving Center is located on the harbour promenade of Pigadia opposite the Marina entrance just next to the city hall. Free parking space is available for your car or scooter at the port although we can always pick you up from your hotel if you are staying in Pigadia Town.

Fresh water rinse tanks are available for your equipment. Free storage of your diving equipment is possible while you are in Karpathos.
A Paramina compressor connected to a continuous Nitrox blending system is used to fill the tanks with air or Nitrox mixtures with up to 40% O2. Any other Trimix or Nitrox mix is available upon request.

Last but not least free Wi-Fi internet access is available to check your mail or post your diving photos on your facebook wall.

Speedboat "Alexandra"

We do operate with our speedboat "Alexandra". It is an inflatable rib boat with HONDA engine 250. That gives the opportunity for explorations of the wild karpathian waters. Operations from the boat depend on the weather and wind conditions - which are unpredictable on Katpathos Island. There has to be big enough group gathered to organize boat dives. Our extremelny experienced and dedicated capitan Dino will show you the wonderful hidden Karpathos.

We also do organize speedboat tripa with snorkeling to Pigadia cave, Ahata, Apella or further destinations on request.

  • Double 12 lt steel tanks and aluminum S80 tanks
  • S40-7 lt- S80 aluminum stage tanks

  • Mares-Apeks-Tecline regulators (available with DIR longhose configuration too)

  • Mares BCDs - Tecline wings
  • Mares 5mm full suits and 3mm shorties
  • SMBs - Torches - Canister lights

Seacraft scooters

All our equipment comes from reputable manufacturers complies with all relevant EN directives, is fairly new and well maintained by our stuff.

We have 3 Seacraft Scooters GO! available to use and test in Karpathos Diving Center. Lightweight yet incredibly powerful, these underwater scooters offer multiple gears, speeds up to 1.35 m/s, and an impressive battery life of up to 210 minutes with optimal use. There are 3 modes: Regular diving mode, Beginner mode, Freediving mode. Try dives with scooters and PADI Scooter Speciality Course is available if requested. That is the real fun for a bit more advanced divers!
